Nick Acheson is a North Norfolk naturalist, conservationist and campaigner. Completing his degrees, he moved to Bolivia, where he worked for ten years in nature conservation. He has worked with wildlife on every continent and every ocean, though six years ago he gave up flying for reasons of climate concern. Nick is an ambassador for Norfolk Wildlife Trust, chair of trustees of Deepdale Conservation Trust, a patron of Felbeck Trust and a regular contributor to the media on nature and the environment. His first book The Meaning of Geese was voted East Anglian Book of the Year 2023. His book celebrating 100 years of work by Norfolk Wildlife Trust will be published in 2026, as will the Society of Wildlife Artists' book on their residency at Massingham Heath rewilding project, to which Nick will contribute the text.
